Dr. Alan Weintraub
Dr. Alan Weintraub is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiovascular disease. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in New York, he earned his degree in medicine from the University of Chicago School of Medicine.
Dr. Weintraub completed his internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and completed his residency training at the Georgetown University Hospital. He was an Assistant Attending Physician US Congress with the US Navy-Lt. Medical Corps. He returned to Georgetown University Hospital to complete a fellowship.
Dr. Weintraub has been practicing cardiology since 1962 and specializes in cardiovascular diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology American College of Chest Physicians, the American Heart Association and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Weintraub currently has privileges at the following hospitals:
- Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Maryland
- Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
