I was so nervous prior to my appointment and Dr. Sanai made me feel so comfortable and at ease! Him and his entire staff were extremely nice and caring! I strongly recommend you go see him! Thank you Dr. Sanai and CardioCare Staff!!!!
Dr. Sanai is the best doctor I have ever seen, he is equally thoughtful and talented and has been able to put me at ease on multiple occasions. Would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a cardiologist.
This is a great practice, and Dr. Sanai is an excellent cardiologist. Highly recommended.
Everything about my visit with Dr. Sanai was exceptional. The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming, as was the nurse. Though a first time patient paperwork took all of one minute to complete (and via a tablet.) Dr. Sanai was personable, attentive and reassuring and I am confident I am in excellent hands. I would recommend him with no hesitation whatsoever.
I want Dr. Sanai to be my doctor for all the things, not just the few times I need my heart checked. I have more than a touch of white coat syndrome, but since he treats his patients like people, he calms me right down. What I mean by that is, he talks to you when you are fully clothed, not in a paper gown; he has comfy chairs set up so you can have a conversation in a non-clinical setting; he chats with you about things like vacation and your life; he explains every thing clearly, but not dumbed down. He is really really great.
Dr. Sanai is an absolute pro! He saw me immediately, was courteous, respectful, and provided sound advice to help manage my symptoms.
I feel lucky to have found Dr. Sanai. He instantly inspires confidence, makes a genuine connection, and clearly is very, very bright. Exceptional.
Dr. Sanai was great!!!
Fabulous! What a breath of fresh air it was to meet Dr. Sanai. He is wonderful!
I've seen cardiologists all my child and adult life. Dr. Sanai is the best. His bedside manner is incredible. He was really present with me, asked me thoughtful questions, and really understood the history of my issue. Then, after listening to my heart and looking at my tests, offered me insight about my heart that I hadn't had before-- that's saying a lot. I felt like I was in extremely good hands with Dr. Sanai and would readily recommend him to anyone.
Didn't know I even had high blood pressure and what my have cause the onset but Dr. Sinai was great in putting me at ease and his follow-up is amazing!
Doctor Sanai made me feel better and gave me assurance the way no others had; I am grateful to him for his healing, calming bedside manner in the midst of stress and fear.I highly recommend him.
A very thorough and compassionate Doctor. He makes you a partner in your treatment. I would recommend Dr. Sanai to anyone
Dr. Sanai was very good and professional. I appreciated his prompt assistance with my matter and checking in with my primary doctor.
There’s no getting around the fact that when you have cardiovascular disease, a visit to the cardiologist is about as much fun as—dare I say it?—a heart attack. Such visits are inherently stressful for many of us, but Dr. Sanai clearly recognizes this, and he does a great job of minimizing the doctor’s-visit dread. On my fist visit to his office, he told me that he was there to be an advocate for me and my health—and I quickly realized that those weren’t just empty words to calm a nervous patient. Dr. Sanai comes across as an extremely knowledgeable doctor who clearly is up to speed on areas of medicine far beyond his specialty, which seems to be a rarity among specialists these days. But it’s a real bonus for us heart patients, given how often heart disease is intertwined with health problems far beyond just the heart. He’s thorough, doesn’t act distracted or rushed and is a good conversationalist who genuinely listens. He treated me like a human being and not a just random patient attached to lab report. We talked in detail about my heart health, the good, the bad and the ugly—but we also talked in detail about just me as a person, my family, my job and my life in general. He took the time to methodically explain the results of my less-than-optimal bloodwork and other tests, and he formulated a clear plan for going forward to help optimize my health while keeping a close eye on potential problems. Dr. Sanai also took plenty of time to answer all of my worrisome questions. He didn’t sugarcoat the scary stuff, but at the same time, he had a genuinely reassuring manner, and he helped put my health status into a broader more-optimistic perspective: focusing on the aspects of my health that I could work to control (lifestyle, medication, regular tests and checkups, etc.) over the things that were out of my control (bad genes, previous cardiac events, etc). Dr. Sanai works from a couple of offices. My appointment with him was at his DC office, which has a relaxing and inviting vibe to it and minimizes the cold, clinical decor that many doctors seem to prefer. Finally, I should mention that Dr. Sanai’s staff is outstanding, too. You can complete the bulk of the mandatory medical forms and paperwork conveniently online before your visit. Check-in was fast and easy. Appointment started right on time. The office assistants and nurses are friendly, responsive and professional. After I’d left his office, I emailed a few follow-up questions, and Dr. Sanai and his staff responded within minutes. Impressive all around. So, yeah, if you’re in the unfortunate position of needing to see a cardiologist, you’ll be in good hands with Dr. Sanai . Very highly recommended!
Dr. Sanai is a great cardiologist who really cares about his patients.
Excellent care on all levels! Dr. Reza Sanai is a wonder practitioner, excellent bedside manner. His office is state of the art, relaxed (especially given the specialty). Wonderful front desk- Faith is very efficient, patient friendly and they are seamless at check in- on time! Running my own practice -I was very impressed and will happily refer my patients to Dr. Sanai. This is really the best of the best run as sadly one rarely sees in today’s medical practices. Highly recommend.
Spectacular experience. Very professional and compassionate staff. Would highly recommend. Ava was superb in figuring out what I needed to do as a self-pay patient, as was the practice manager Alice. Dr. Reza Sanai was incredible. Very knowledgeable, straightforward and compassionate. He was punctual, efficient and at the same time very attentive. In addition, once he realized I was self-paying for my dad who was visiting from out of the country and didn't have insurance he only charged us for his services at cost. Without an overstatement he is an epitome of what a modern-day doctor should be. I just looked Dr. Sanai up and realized he has 5/5 stars on every online medical review site, and for a good reason. I highly recommend both Dr. Reza Sanai and the whole Cardio Care practice for anyone looking for straightforward medical advice grounded in the best evidence-based medicine. Huge thank you!
